Westside Albuquerque, NM (October 6, 2023) – The Albuquerque Westside Business Association is teeing off for its 2nd Annual AWBA Golf Classic on Friday October 13th, 2023 at Ladera Golf Course.

The annual Golf Classic raises funds to support the AWBA mission for business advocacy, economic development projects, and student educational programs on the westside of Albuquerque. Since 2020 the Albuquerque Westside Business Association has had a vision of rewriting the impression of the westside which features vibrant neighborhoods with thriving businesses, more opportunities for economic development, and an engaged, connected community.

The Golf Classic will feature plenty of great elements including a fun Halloween themed costume contest, raffle prizes, and a 50/50 cash raffle open to anyone online with proceeds going towards economic development & educational programs. Special guest player and former University of New Mexico Lobo Basketball great Kenny Thomas will also be joining the tournament.

Tournament check in & registration will begin at 7 AM with an 8 AM shotgun start. Players and participants will receive a complimentary car wash courtesy of Forthright Auto who is the tournament Title Sponsor.
